Insurance Scheme for DTAA Members

DTAA has arranged a scheme with Insurance House (IH) Group who are pleased to be the preferred insurance provider for DTAA members. Insurance House Group has been established for more than 25 years. The insurance is underwritten by Lloyds of London, the worlds largest insurer who holds a security rating of A+.

The coverage is specifically tailored to the needs of DTAA members and IH Group prices are extremely competitive. Please note that this offer is for CURRENT FINANCIAL MEMBERS OF THE DTAA ONLY. If the quote is acceptable you have the option to proceed with the purchase where you will receive your policy, tax invoice and receipt immediately by e-mail. A receipt for the membership year must be faxed or emailed to bev.spark@ihgroup.com within 14 days following this process to ensure you are covered.

This scheme provides a combined malpractice (professional indemnity), $10 million public and products liability policy, with students under supervision covered, locums, nil excess in the event of a claim and a long list of approved modalities that can also be covered. There is a lower rate for practitioners earning less than $10,000 per annum for their DMT practice, free run-off cover for those ceasing to practice and a 48 hour policy issuing guarantee. Modalities that can also be covered within this premium for DMT include Yoga, Alexander technique and Pilates.

Costs: range from $179.85 to $243.45 (for practitioners earning less than $10,000 per annum from their practice) and depending on the level of cover chosen, or $198 to $288 (for those earning $10,000 or more from their DMT practice).
